Introduction
For your WinMan Go apps to be able to access your WinMan data from outside your organisations network we need some Internet traffic to be forwarded. All traffic sent is end to end encrypted and the connections are authenticated.
This is a technical task and will require a change to your firewall and router. You may need to pass this request on to your IT department or provider.
Forwarding Rules
We need to port forward the following TCP traffic;
The ports used here are our defaults. You may choose different ports if they clash with any existing rules.
You can add these rules as a range if you prefer as opposed to three separate rules.
- Public port 8753 to Private Port 8753 IP Server hosting the web services
- Public port 8754 to Private Port 8754 IP Server hosting the web services
- Public port 8755 to Private Port 8755 IP Server hosting the web services
